How often are the Power BI dashboards updated? ▼
Most dashboards are refreshed daily (overnight). The Distribution dashboard is updated weekly, and the Spend dashboard is updated monthly following the close of each reporting period. The “Last refreshed” timestamp on each dashboard shows the exact refresh time.
Can I share this portal with colleagues? ▼
Access is managed per organisation. If a colleague needs access, please contact your Meridian account manager, who will arrange an invitation. Each user receives their own login credentials linked to their email address. Please do not share your login credentials with others.
Why can I only see my own brand's data in Power BI? ▼
Power BI uses Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure each client can only view their own data. This is a security measure to protect confidential sales and distribution information. If you believe data is missing or incorrect, please contact your account manager.
How long does it take for a promotion to be approved? ▼
Promotion requests are reviewed within 5 business days of submission. Complex promotions involving multiple regions or large budgets may require additional review. You can track the status of your request on the Promotions tab at any time.
I can’t access the portal / Power BI isn’t loading. What should I do? ▼
First, try clearing your browser cache and using a supported browser (Edge or Chrome recommended). If the issue persists, check your internet connection and try a different network. If you still cannot access the portal, contact IT support at support@meridianwine.co.za with a screenshot of any error message.
How do I download reports for offline use? ▼
Navigate to the Reports & Downloads tab and click the download button next to any report. Files are available in their original format (.pptx, .pdf, .xlsx). For Power BI dashboards, you can export specific visuals to PDF or Excel using the export button within the dashboard view.
